"Lily! Lily! Lily Dumbledore come down here this instant!"

Uughhh. I just wanted to bury myself in my bed and never come out.

"Lily!"

There he goes again. I slid out from under my covers, got dressed quickly and ran down the creaking stairs.

"Lil___! "

"I'm here Dad. What do you want?"

"First of all don't talk to me like that. Sceond of all, I need you to run some errands in the village for me."

"Dad we said no errands today remember? Uncle Albus is bringing me my hogwarts letter today!"

"And you're not getting it until you do those errands and you're done with your chores."

And that's my dad, Abeforth Dumbledore. And yep you got it. Albus Dumbledore is my uncle. You may think I'm the luckiest girl on earth but the truth is I'm not. I live above the Hog's Head Inn that my father owns, and since he's often busy he asks me to do some errands for him in the village: go buy some mead, get the newspaper, get a new chair this one was broken beyond repair etc...

But I wasn't in the mood to do that. Today was August the 24th and Uncle Albus said he'd bring me my Hogwarts letter himself and I was so excited to finally be able to get out of that dingy pub.
