-  Small, human-like creatures with wings

-  1-5" in height

-  Very vain

     o  Constantly grooming

     o  Perturbed when wings are removed à think it makes them ugly

     o  If you don't let them primp, you can't harvest wings

     o  Keep small mirror with them, 1 per fairy

-  Live in forests à indoor needs bushes or trees

-  Eat leaves à will stop eating if cause harm

-  Avoid trees with Bowtruckles

-  Lay eggs on underside of leaves and guard heavily à up to 50 at a time

      o  Young stay with parents until ready to change into cocoon

      o  6-10 days after birth, spin cocoon, hatch in 1 month and have adult wings

-  Larvae wings are very small, barely visible

-  Adult wings hang past fairy's feet and extend over head and colored

-  Don't need license to keep fairies for wing trade

-  Set 3X3' space for every fairy

-  Wings finish growing after month mark

     o  Must harvest now, or they become brittle and dry

     o  Wings grow back like normal

-  Live avg of 20 years

     o  Less grooming, wings taking longer to grow back – nearing end of life

-  Uses

     o  Girding Potion – potion that gives consumer extra endurance

          ~  Larger wings better

     o  Wings can be kept for up to 2 years
