Hermiones P.O.V

Hermione woke with a start it was really early, too early. 'Today's the day! Would you get up already Hermione you are wasting precious time.' Ginny squealed whilst running around the room trying to find things. She's getting married today, to her best friend, Hermione thought to herself. Hermione thought that Ginny would be a lot more nervous than this, but surely it's a good thing that she's not, she is so exited. 'I'm getting up, just give me a minute for my eyes to adjust to the light' Hermione said rubbing her eyes and swinging her legs over the side of the bed. 'Okay, but hurry up' Ginny said whilst speeding out of the room with her arms full.

Ginny is so happy with Harry, Hermione was pleased for both of them she really was but at the same time she was jealous of what they have. It has never been like that with herself and Ron, in fact it has been the compete opposite actually. They are always arguing and when they are happy it does not last very long. Hermione wanted it to work, she really did but she just didn't think it would. There's no spark.

'I've brought you both some toast each so that Harry wont't see Ginny before the wedding.' Mrs Weasley said as she walked  into Ginnys room grinning from ear to ear. 'Thanks Mrs Weasley ' Hermione said as she took the slices of toast out of her hands and placed them on Ginnys bed. 'Where's Ginny?' she asked frowning slightly. 'I think shes in the shower, I'll go find her' Hermione answered and she picked up a towel and some underwear and headed off up the stairs to the bathroom. Halfway up the stairs Hermione bumped straight into someone and almost fell back down the stairs but they caught her around the waist just in time. She regained her balance blushing slightly and looked up. It was Ron. She really didn't have time for him right now she had bride to get ready and herself. Hermione thanked him and tried to walk past him but he gabbed her waist. 'Good morning, Hermione' he said smiling slightly. 'Morning, Ronald' Hermione said still trying to walk past him but he just kept tightening his grip. It's no use he is far too strong. 'Why are you in such a hurry?' he questioned her. '' In case you have forgotten Ronald, your sister and best friend are getting married today and I need to help Ginny get ready and I need to get myself ready in time. So if you will excuse me I must be going' Hermione stated. Ron loosened his grip and she ran up the stairs without another word, but She could feel his eyes watching her as she ran.

Ginny came out of the bathroom just as Hermione reached the door. She was wrapped in a towel and was singing merrily to herself. She jumped slightly when she saw Hermione. 'Thank god it's you Hermione, I thought it might have been Harry' she sighed with relief. 'Nope, it's only me. You go back down the stairs to your room there's toast on your bed, so eat then dry your hair. I'm going for a quick shower then I'll come down and we can start getting ready.' Hermione instructed. She started waking down the stairs still singing, she stopped a few steps down and turned round to face Hermione as though she had only just heard her. 'Okay Hermione, but you need to relax we have plenty of time' Ginny said before turning round and singing again. She shook her head and went for her shower.

After her shower Hermione ran back to Ginnys room she had dried her hair and was now staring at herself in the mirror. Hermione quickly took her hair out of the bun it was in because She washed it the night before so that she would not have to do it now. Hermione brushed her hair and went over to Ginny. 'What do you want to start with hair or make up?' Hermione asked. 'Hair, get it out of my face so that we can get my make up done after this.' she said handing Hermione a pack of hair pins and her hairbrush. Hermione began working on Ginnys hair until it was all up and secured it with hair spray. They decided not to use magic for this because they wanted to do it properly. She finished Ginnys hair and make up then Ginny did Hermiones. Once they were all made up Hermione got into her dress then helped Ginny into hers which took a bit more effort than Hermiones did.

Thats when Molly Weasley walked in. She was wearing a pale blue dress and a floral shawl. She gasped as soon as she walked in. 'You both look beautiful. My only daughter, my baby girl getting married.' She sobbed. 'Mum please stop crying you'll end up making me cry and then I will ruin mine and Hermiones masterpiece.' Molly laughed but Hermione knew Ginny was being serious. They spent half an hour on Ginnys make up alone. 'It's time for the ceremony to start, are you ready Gin?' Hermione asked as calmly as she could. Hermione felt like she is more nervous than Ginny is, but Hermione didn't know why. 'Lets do this!' Ginny said making everyone laugh.

They made their way down the stairs and to the front door where Arthur Weasley was waiting to walk his only daughter down the isle. Hermione could see the tears in his eyes as he watched his daughter walk down the stairs in her beautiful dress. She really did look stunning.

The ceremony was really beautiful and everything went perfectly. Ginny and Harry are married now and they are so happy together. Hermione wished that it could be that easy with Ron but maybe they just aren't meant to be. Hermione was standing at the food table getting a glass of butter beer when she heard a familiar voice from behind her. It was Viktor Krum. 'Hermione' he said. 'Viktor, you came and you can say my name now!' She said laughing and giving him a hug. Hermione could feel someone watching her and she had a feeling who it was but she didn't care. She danced with Krum and when they were done Hermione went to find Ginny but someone grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the tent.
