Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table with Ginny. Harry and Ron weren't there yet. 'Hey Gin.' she said as she took her seat across from her.'Hey 'Mione. How was the first night in the new common room? What does it look like? Did the ferret give you any trouble?' she bombarded her with questions. 'It was great actually. The common room is amazing and my room is beautiful, I show you after breakfast. No there wasn't any trouble. He's changed he didn't call me a mudblood once. He even apologized for everything he has done. I think he actually meant it. He only did what he did out of fear. I kind of feel sorry for him, it's his fathers fault. Everyone hates him but he didn't want to any of the things he did he was forced to by his dad and Voldemort.' Hermione told her. 'Wait, are you sticking up for him? Even after everything?' Ginny asked. 'Well, yeah he's not the same person. He really has changed.' Hermione said. 'I just hope you're right 'Mione for your sake. If anything happens though I want to be the first to know.' Ginny said. 'You will be.' Hermione answered. 

They finished their breakfast and Hermione lead Ginny away and up to the seventh floor to the portrait of Snape. 'Shouldn't you be in the Heads office with all of the other portraits of ex-head teachers?' Ginny asked. 'I am, I have 2 portraits' Snape answered. Ginny nodded and Hermione said the password. They walked into the common room. 'Wow, it really is beautiful in here. I am so jealous 'Mione' Ginny said walking around the room.  'I know. The password is Doxie, so if you can't find me I'll probably be in here. Or if you just need some peace and quiet just come here. Don't tell anyone else though. I'm not really supposed to tell anyone.' Hermione told her, she knew she shouldn't have told Ginny, but she could trust her. 'Thanks 'Mione.' she said and she hugged her. Just as she hugged her the portrait hole opened and in walked Draco. 'Sorry, am I interrupting?' he asked smirking slightly. 'Yes.' Ginny said with a straight face. Hermione knew she was joking but Draco didn't. 'Oh, sorry. I'll just go to my room then.' he looked down and started walking. Hermione and Ginny burst out laughing. 'You were right 'Mione, he really has changed.' she said through laughs. 'What?' he said. 'I was only kidding. 'Mione was just showing me your common room.' she said. 'Aw I see, well I'll just leave you to it then. He walked passed them an into his room. 'So are you gonna show me your room or not?' she asked. 'Oh right yeah. It's this one here.' She opened the door and let Ginny walk in first. 

'Wow.' she said. 'Did you choose the colour?' she asked as she walked over to the wardrobe. 'Yeah, I can change it to whatever I want. It was red and gold at first then I changed it to this. Dracos is the same but his is green and silver.' she told Ginny. Ginny spun around to look at her. 'Draco?' she asked, 'You are on a first name basis now? And you've been in his room?' she asked smirking. 'Well yeah sort of. And yeah his room is the first door so I went in there first when we got here to see what it was.' Hermione said blushing. 'I see.' Ginny said still smirking. She walked over to the wardrobe. 'You just think about the type of clothes you want ant it will appear. ' Hermione told her. Ginny stood for a few seconds then opened the wardrobe, inside was a huge selection of bikinis. 'Why bikinis?' Hermione asked. 'Because we are going swimming with the rest of the Gryffindors in your year.' Ginny said smiling as she went through the selection. She chose a coral bikini and a kimono to wear over it. Next she started holding them up for Hermione to choose. She eventually gave up asking Hermione and just chose one for her, it was lime green with white flowers on it, it was very pretty. 'Gin, I really don't like wearing bikinis. I feel too exposed in them.' she told Ginny. 'I don't care 'Mione it's about time you took a step outside your comfort zone. So go and try this on and show me. I'm not taking no as an answer.' she handed Hermione the bikini and Hermione went into the bathroom to put it on. It was very comfortable and it did fit really well. Hermione stood in front of the mirror for a good few minutes studying her body, she did suit it. The door on the other side of the room opened. Draco stood there mouth slightly open. 'Sorry.' he said. Hermione blushed. 'You look good in green, it is definitely your colour.' he told her smirking. 'What's this for anyway?' he asked. 'Ginny made me try it on we are going out with the rest of the Gryffindors in our year that returned. Apparently we are going swimming.' she said laughing 'Well you look good. I though Ginny was in the year bellow us.' he said. 'She is, but she's one of my best friends and she's dating Harry. So she kind of get's an invite. Knowing her she probably organised it.' Hermione said giggling. Draco really loved it when she giggled like that. 'I didn't think you were so close.' he said. 'Yeah, well every time I stay at the burrow I share a room with Ginny, so you tend to become quite close sharing a room with someone for so long. And sharing everything, and I mean everything, with each other.' She laughed again. 'I suppose you would.' he admitted. He was jealous that Hermione had so many real friends, he had never had that. 'Hermione what's taking you so long. Know what I don't care I'm coming in.' Like she had said Ginny cam bursting into the room. 'Ah now I understand. 'Mione you look great. Doesn't she Malfoy?' Ginny said Hermione knew what she was trying to do. 'Gin..' Hermione started but she was interrupted. 'Eh yeah she does.' Draco said. Hermione was so surprised. She started to blush. 'Thanks guys, but I really don't feel comfortable in this.' She said honestly. 'I know 'Mione but I told you I don't care. You are wearing that, end of.' Ginny said smirking. 'Well I'm wearing a kimono with it then.' she said. 'I knew you would say that so I picked out a white one for you and a matching pair of sandals.' she said as she handed them to Hermione. She put them on. She felt much better wearing this. 'Thanks Gin.' She said. Someone coughed behind her, Hermione had completely forgot Draco was standing there 'Sorry Draco, I forgot you wee there.' She said. 'I gathered that, well I was coming in here because I was going for a shower so if you would excuse me I'd like to go for my shower before dinner, you can stay if you want I don't really care but I going for a shower now so you can either stay or leave.' he said smirking. Ginny and Hermione turned and left closing the door. 

'Did he just say before dinner?' Hermione asked. 'Yes, you were in that bathroom for ages. We missed lunch.' Ginny said laughing. 'Aw sorry Gin.' she said. 'It's fine, so what happened in there before I came in?' she asked. 'Nothing happened he just walked in because I forgot to lock the doors, he joked about how green is my colour, you missed nothing. If anything else had happened I would tell you.' Hermione said. 'Okay, we should probably put something on over this so that we can go to dinner, and apparate to where we are going.' Ginny went back over to the wardrobe and opened it she picked out 2 jump suits, one green for Hermione who laughed when she was given it and a black one for herself. They put these on pulled the kimonos on again and went down to dinner.
