Hello.

As many of you may already know, Nicolas Flamel, who had contributed on writing the previous book, had died as the 21st century began. However, being one of his closer partners, I have retrieved a piece of the Philosopher's Stone - the stone that gives the owner an extraordinary power to use the stone in order to create mere stones and metal into gold, and contributes in creating the Elixir of Life, which grants immortality to anyone who drinks it. But enough about that - you've already learned in the first book. As Nicolas' close partner and friend, I have decided to help develop the second book of alchemy. However, I will not be able to contribute on possible sequels in the future, because I've only retrieved part of the stone and will soon wear out, not allowing me to produce the Elixir and die out, just like my assistant Edward Kelley.

But, as of now, I will, indeed, help you out in continuing your education of the art of alchemy.
