Get you broomstick and stand in a wide open area. Put the broom beside you on your right raise your hand over it and say clearly "UP". It should lift up and shoot up in to your hand. Throw your right leg over the center of the broom and point the handle up to the sky. Your broom should be hovering about a foot from the ground but if its not try lifting your feet of the ground while holding the broom. Tilt forward fly a few feet to get use to flying.
