Am I Actually Supposed To Eat Breakfast?

Chapter 2

Am I Actually Supposed to Eat Breakfast?

While breakfast is not required, it's probably a good idea. I'm kind of a hypocrite in saying this, (as I don't typically eat breakfast), but it's important to eat carbohydrates in the morning. The best daily diet to have is one consisting of a breakfast "fit for a king," a lunch "fit for a queen," and a dinner "fit for a princess," with a lot of healthy snacks in-between. The reason you need such a small dinner is that you typically don't exercise after dinner, right? You  normally just go to sleep, (or if you're like me, lay in bed on your computer until 4 AM). You need to eat breakfast though, to make sure that you're thinking clearly and performing well throughout the day. Your body actually can't even perform basic functions such as breathing or chewing without consuming your RMR, or Resting Metabolic Rate, (also sometimes called your Basal Metabolism), every day. RMRs are usually around 2000 calories, but they can vary depending on lots of different factors, such as your age, athleticism, weight, and sex.... Buuuuutttt back onto the breakfast topic! If you're really in a rush or can't afford to eat like a king, the next best thing is to grab a piece of fruit or a cereal bar.
