Remus laughed and folded the letter. It made him happy just to see their handwriting again. He could almost hear them screeching over each other.
And it was that thought that soothed Remus through the whole painful experience of his transformation.
Because not only were his friends the only true things he had- they were also there when he needed them.
They always seemed to know.
Remus ran a familiar phrase through his mind- a warming one, a calming one-
