We had won the battle.

It had happened three years ago.

Muukysto was buried in the battlefield - that's the only thing left in our planet now.

The survivors of the Undaunted Division had resided in Patronia. We would occasionally find the Mahzii or Cycrots lurking about in the city.

The war wasn't over, but they had stopped attacking us. They left to another galaxy, the Andromeda.

I kept my victory secret. I didn't want fame. I wanted a life. A quiet, private, modest, happy one.

I know that they will not return, or not for at least another millennium. 

Everything was where it was supposed to be, but the planet.

I live in a modest Patronian home now. The Mahzii established the Mahzii Empire in a different planet, and the Cycrots left for an everlasting journey through the universe. Surely they will decide to reside in a decent planet soon. Exotion, our refuge, is now merely a remain - a forgotten ruins with memories from the past. 

It's not the same as it was, but right now, this is good enough.
