It's a Definite Kind of Love (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)

written by Jui Weasley

Ever since that one kiss, something had changed between them. They were more comfortable with each other. They cared for each other (mostly... sometimes... 70% of the time... 60%...) They actually tried hard for each other. This is the story of Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon. WARNING: There are mentions of violence in this story. The Start of The End

Chapter 1

"Oi, Sirius!" called out Marlene, running down the hills to catch up with him. "Here's my address. You'll owl me in the summer?" She handed him a small piece of parchment with her address written on it.

"Of course, Marls," smirked Sirius and patted her on the head playfully.

They stood on the very grassy hillside where Sirius had revealed his 'dog-like' self to Marlene.

"Look at where we are, Sirius," sighed Marlene. "Good old memories of us being stupid."

Sirius laughed heartily. "We still are stupid."

The two of them sat down on the soft, warm, lush, and green grass.

They sat in silence for a while.

Sirius looked down at Marlene. Her curly golden hair was blowing into her sparkling brown eyes.

"Did you get a haircut or something?" asked Marlene suspiciously.

"Yeah," said Sirius, running a hand through his definitely shorter hair. "Just last night."

"I liked it better before," said Marlene with a warm smile. "It was poufy."

"Your hair's poufy."

"It is."

Marlene and Sirius gave each other a swift and warm smile.

"Marls?" asked Sirius a little quietly.

"What's up?"

"Is this- well- is what's going on between us- going to be- well- official-?"

Marlene paused. She clearly wasn't expecting. "I'd like it to," she put in. "What about you?"

Sirius saw how calm and collected she looked and followed her. "I- yeah. I do too."

Marlene smiled. "So we've got one thing straight- I like you and you like me. And not just as friends."

Sirius didn't cut into her speech. So he just nodded.

"Why're you looking at me like that?" sighed Marlene. "I haven't read thousands of books on how to tell someone you wanna be official. Or watched any movies. Though my parents do like a lot of romance movie- wait- what were we talking about?"

Sirius chuckled. This was one of the biggest reasons why he liked Marlene.

"It's fine, Marlene. I know it. You know it. We know it. We're good." Sirius did the world's worst thumbs up and stuck it in Marlene's face.

"PAIN- IT'S PAIN TO TO SEE SUCH A THUMB'S UP- AHHHHH!" shrieked Marlene.

Sirius smiled. So did Marlene. They both leaned in again, slowly.

Last kiss for the year.

A/N: I love you guys sooooo much and I can't wait until I get an idea for the next chapter. I'll see you all then! :)
