Student Spotlight
Chapter 1
Here at HiH, there are so many students. It is very important for students to get their voices out there and heard. When you notice something that no one else notices, you want to brag about it, right? (It's okay, I think we're all guilty of it) And when you want to protest something, you want others to listen. So it's really important that all the students here get to share their opinions on lots of different HP related things.
Every issue, this section will come up. It is where we ask a HP related question and ask YOU GUYS what you think!
If you would like to be one of these people, please don't hesitate to contact me, whether on my wall or messages, here: https://www.hogwartsishere.com/1032268/
So, without further ado, let's get started!
Today's question was "What makes magic difficult?"
Alice Hanna (1st year Hufflepuff)

"Well, what makes Magic so difficult is the fact that not many of us believe that we are capable of the power anymore, that we can learn the arts of magic because a lot of muggle-borns have the idea of fairytales drilled into their head, that they believe it to be fiction. This is not the Chronicles of Narnia, this is real."
Alex (1st year Slytherin)

"What makes magic difficult is that it needs practice and that it may come with a price."
Dane Lautner (5th year Slytherin)

"To answer your question, I don’t believe that there’s anything that makes magic difficult: like any skill, hard work and perseverance is more than enough to make any spell easy in the long run."
Timothy Walsh (4th year Ravenclaw)

"The most difficult part of magic is that to cast a spell you have to concentrate on many things at once: the incantation, the wand movement, and the effect you want your spell to have. With potion making the difficulty is that the instructions are long and complicated and must be followed exactly. In either case, a moment of inattention could result in the spell or potion being ineffective, or worse, it could cause a distaster, from a backfire of a spell to an explosion in your cauldron."
So there you have it, folks! Thank you so much to our wonderful answerers and their input. A reminder: If you would like to be one of these people, please don't hesitate to contact me, whether on my wall or messages, here: https://www.hogwartsishere.com/1032268/
