"Ok so where do we go?" I asked Zia. "I have no idea" she replied. "So first up we have Charms, then Astronomy, then Defense Against the Dark Arts, then Herbology, then we get lunch and Homework Hall which I think we just get to work on our homework, then History of Magic, Transfiguration, and finally potions." I said. "Ok, lets ask a prefect where to go" Zia replied.

At the moment we were at breakfast and had no idea where charms was.

"I'll go ask a prefect" Zia said before running off.

Isn't Charms SOOOOOO boring? Can't wait 'til the weekend!

I glanced at Zia. She was smiling. She gestured to write her a note. I then mouthed "Ok" back.

However risky this was I was going to do it. So I began to write:

Z,

Yes totally! The weekend is too far away, today is Monday. And it is only first hour.

I then threw the note to Zia, who was about to catch it, then Jo snatched it.

"Professor?" She said. "Yes Miss Veela?" Professor Flitwick asked. "Bethany and Zia were passing notes, Bethany was about to pass this to Zia when I noticed it." Jo said innocently. "Give me the note" he said to Jo. After he read it, he was silent. Then he said "10 points from Gryffindor for your behavior Miss Rye and Miss Wernander. I expected more from both of you. Also come to my office Saturday night at 6:00 for detention."

The rest of the day was a flop. Knowing we didn't have a weekend night anymore was the worst. That night I had  so much homewrok that I didn't get to bed until 1:00. And I am a first year! And it was the first day of classes! At least I have Sunday off, I thought before drifting off to sleep.
