(Y/n’s pov) 

The rest of April passed by quickly then May passed by in a flash and soon the school year was coming to a close. I had been going to classes and passed all my classes with ease. I had done a couple of tasks for father, some I did alone but some I did with Thomas. Theodore and I have been hanging out more lately and he was going to spend the summer at our house. I didn’t talk with Enzo that much but we hung out every once and a while and talked at meals often and sometimes we did homework together. 

Today was the last day of classes which meant that tomorrow we were going to be going home for the summer. I was packing for most of the day and when I was not packing I was eating or reading. I attended the feast and chatted with Olivia and Jamal about summer plans, Olivia was traveling and camping this summer and Jamal was planning on doing a lot of quidditch. My brother had finally graduated from school, I was so happy for him. After the feast I headed back to my room and finished packing my stuff then showered and went to bed. 

The next morning I got ready then went to breakfast then shortly after we were boarding the train. I was trying to get to the cabin but two boys were blocking the way “Move please” 

They looked me up and down “Where have you been all year?” One of them asked, looking at the other.

“I said move, not sit there and stare me, I’n not in the mood” 

“Huh, who do you think you are?” 

“I’m Y/n Riddle and I am done with you for today” I waved my hand and they moved out of the way and I passed them and they fell to the floor. 

“What did they do to you?” Theodore asked, poking his head out of the cabin door

“They weren’t moving out of my way” I replied then entered the cabin. It was just Theo and Enzo here, Thomas and Mattheo had to go home earlier. I could have just apparated home but I didn’t want to, I enjoyed the train ride. I sat next to Theo and Enzo sat across from us. 

“So Enzo, have any summer plans?” I asked 

“No, not really. Are you hot? It’s burning in here and you're wearing long sleeves” 

“No, I’m fine, I have worn sweatshirts in hotter weather” 

“Ok, suit yourself” 

Enzo still didn’t know I got the mark. 

When we got to the platform Enzo left us and I apparated Theo to the house. 

We met Mattheo at the door. “Thomas is talking with father but he will be out in a bit” Mattheo explained “How was the train ride?” 

“Great” I replied “Now if you’ll excuse me I am going to go unpack and change” 

“Oh, can you show Theo to his room, he’s staying in the empty room across from yours” 

“Sure, Theo come on” I went up the big staircase and led him to his room. “My room is right there” I informed him, pointing to the doors across the hall and slightly to the left. “If you need anything, and my brothers rooms are pretty much on the other side of the house” 

“Why are they so far apart?” 

“I don’t know, we usually just apparate to each other or talk to each other in our heads” I shrugged then pushed open the double doors to reveal a room that looked like mine just the furnisher was in different places and there were no decorations or clothes or anything. It was a clean slate. 

“This room is humongous” He stated 

“Yes, yes it is, it’s great for practicing dancing, or just running around in circles until you collapse on the ground” I stared forward blankly “Not that I have ever done the second thing” 

“O…k” 

“Have fun, I will be in my room” I left him and went to my room. I unpacked my stuff then changed into a back, short sleeved shirt, to be honest the long sleeves were really hot and everyone here knew I had the mark so I didn’t need to hide it. 

I sat down on my bed and fidgeted with my wand in my fingers, spinning it in between my fingers. I thought about myself. About my past, present, and future. I thought about my brothers, my friends, and most of all, Theodore. I knew one day I would be forced to marry, and all in all, he wasn’t the worst person ever. Better him then some other guy I barely knew or only knew for a couple months before I was forced to marry them. The future was coming, faster and faster, and if I didn’t live my life I was afraid it would be gone in an instant.
