Their hands came off my eyes and pinned my hands to my sides, I couldn’t do anything and my magic was not working. Then they grabbed my shoulders and tried to kiss me but I turned my head to avoid it. I reached for my dagger and put it in his thigh then tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge. Then someone grabbed him off of me and started punching him, it was Mattheo then I saw Thomas go over to him and stop him from killing the guy. 

“Hey Y/n, are you ok?” I heard Theodore’s voice from beside me. My legs felt weak and I started falling but he grabbed me and set me down on the ground gently. I could hear Mattheo and Thomas shouting now. I saw the guy move and Thomas spelled him and he went limp again and they continued shouting. Guys stop I told them through our minds. They turned to look at me. They came to me and crouched down. 

“Are you ok?” Thomas asked

“I’m fine” I replied “Stop arguing, your giving me more of a headache”

“Do you need me to take you back to your dorm?” Thomas asked 

“No, what I need is for you to get rid of him” I replied referring to the guy “But do any of you know who he is?”

“He’s in my year” Thomas replied “Both his parents died over the summer and he doesn't care much about life anymore” 

“Can I kill him?” Mattheo asked and Thomas and Theodore glared at him and he looked at me “Can I?” 

“No” Thomas and Theodore said at the same time I said

“If you want” They all looked at me “What?, you said he doesn’t care much about life anymore” 

“So… Can I?” 

“Why do you want to kill him so badly?” Thomas asked

“You just saw what he did, didn’t you, and like you and Y/n said, he doesn't care much about life” 

“Fine, but let me leave before you do it. Do any of you want to come with me?” Thomas asked us. 

“I’m fine” I replied and Theo went with him. I turned my head when he killed the guy then the guy disappeared and Mattheo walked back to me and handed me my dagger. 

“Your smart that you always have this on you or close by” He commented 

“You never know what's going to happen,” I sighed. He sat down next to me and looked up at the stars with me. 

“So what exactly happened, why didn’t you use your magic on him?”

“I came up here because I wasn’t feeling the best and my magic felt weak. Then he came up behind me and covered my face and dragged me to the wall, I tried to get him off me but my magic wasn’t working and he was stronger than me” I explained “Why were you up here?” 

“Theo noticed you were gone and Thomas and I couldn’t find you or sense your mind so Theo suggested we look here” 

“I see. Well I’m glad you found me, I really do have the best brothers and friends in the world” I smiled 

“So what have you and Thomas been doing together lately?” He asked, changing the subject from the guy.

“Oh, he’s just been helping me with my magic”

“What about it?”

“I haven't been able to control it the best lately. I thought I finally had it under control but I keep on suddenly getting too much or losing it completely and I have no control over it” 

“I can help you too, if you want. I may not know everything Thomas knows or be able to help you like he helps you, but I have my own ways and ideas that work for me and I can change them slightly for you. If you ever need help, I’m here for you”

I rested my head on his shoulder “Thanks. You know your really the best brother ever” 

“Does that mean I’m your favorite?” 

I laughed “I’m not picking favorites, I couldn’t” 

“Oh come on” 

“I know, I just can’t. Your both so great”

(Mattheo’s pov) 

Three weeks have passed since Halloween and both me and Thomas have been helping Y/n with her magic. Y/n told me she thought that Thomas was hiding something from her about the Death Eater meetings that he was going to and I agreed, he was acting sorta different. He was trying to act normal but he was failing, he was horrible at acting. 

I hadn’t really seen Zoe that much, she came and went but was pretty quiet. I still hadn’t met her siblings and Y/n didn’t really see them around much either. 

The school decided to have a Winter dance the first week of December and mostly everyone was looking forward to that.
