Hagrid: We’re not exactly sure we’re the right people to tell you that, Harry. *taps on the wall and reveals a hidden, busy street* Welcome to Diagon Alley.

Rae: *grins* This is where your new life begins.

~ Harry stares at Rachel with a huge grin plastered on his face as they step into the busy street and walk down it while an owl screeches above them. ~

Hagrid: *motions to shops* Here’s where you’ll get your quills and ink, and over there all your bits and bobs for doing your wizardry.

~ As they pass by shops, owls, and bats, Harry becomes more fascinated by it all. By a broom shop, there’s a group of boys crowding around a shiny new broom. ~

Boy: It’s a world-class racing broom. Look at it! It's the new Nimbus 2000! It’s the fastest model yet.

Harry: *concerned* But, Hagrid and Rachel, how am I to pay for all this? I haven’t any money.

Rae: *smiles* Of course, you have money, Harry. 

Hagrid: *points at the bank* Well, there’s your money, Harry. Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T’aint no place safer, ‘cept perhaps Hogwarts. 

~ Before they can walk off, Rachel’s necklace signals her again. Rachel takes it out of her shirt as it flashes black. Her eyes go wide, and she hides the necklace in her hands. ~

Rae: *excited* Hagrid, why don’t you take Harry to get his money? I have to stop and get some food for Tala and Silver. 

Hagrid: *worried* Are yeh sure, Rachel? *looks at her necklace* Is it a Code Black?

Harry: *curious* What’s a Code Black? 

Rae: *excited* Nothing to worry about, Harry. Please Hagrid. I’ll be quick.

~ Although resistant, Hagrid agrees to Rachel’s request. She hugs him tightly and runs off to find a more secluded area as the two continue to the bank. ~

~ Diagon Alley: Secluded Area  ~

~ While the boys run the bank errand, Rachel finds a secluded area behind one of the shops. She pulls the necklace over her head and holds it in both palms. It starts blinking again, but this time a man’s face pops up, and a beaming smile appears on her face. The man is her father, Sirius Black. ~

Rae: *smiling* Father, it’s good to see you again. 

Sirius: *smiling* Hello, my daughter. It’s so nice to see your face again. How is everything going?

Rae: Everything is going well. Dumbledore has me taking Hagrid’s name, so I’m kept off the radar. As far as school, all the students will know me as Rachel Hagrid. *frowns*

Sirius: *nods* Good. I can’t risk losing you too, my wolf. *sees her frown* What is it, Rachel?

Rae: *gulps* Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts, Father. Rumor also has it that Draco Malfoy is supposed to be coming as well. He will reveal my true name as soon as he sees me. 

Sirius: *frowns* You don’t worry about the Malfoys. As long as you stick to Hagrid’s name, they shouldn’t be suspicious. *smiles* As for Harry Potter, he is family whether he knows it or not. Please protect him, my dear. As for yourself, also. 

Rae: *smiles* I will, Father. You can count on me. I’m a Black, after all. 

Sirius: *smiles* That you are my wolf. 

~ The necklace starts blinking again, meaning the call is about to end. Sadness suddenly overtakes her body, and Sirius can tell. ~ 

Sirius: *soft smile* It’s alright, Star. We’ll speak again soon. I love you, my sacred wolf. 

Rae: *soft smile* I love you too, papa wolf. 

~ The call disconnects and Sirius’s face vanishes from sight. Rachel takes a deep breath and takes her time running her errands before meeting back up with the boys. ~
