Diary of a First-Year Hufflepuff
It’s me, Grace. I’m a first-year Hufflepuff who likes to write my day at Hogwarts. I hope you find my diary interesting and enjoyable and I hope that future generation first-years will also learn as they go, just like I did. Many of these entries are based on actual events happening in my life, but obviously I twist the stories a little to make them more magical!

Muggles call it "COVID-19", did Death Eaters start it?

Dear Diary,
It's been FOREVER since I wrote in this journal! Just a month and a half until Summer break! Woohoo! Anyways, currently, it is 9:00 P.M. I'm just sitting in the common room that is pretty- just, chill.
Anyways- new topic! I haven't really talked about this. There is this virus that is said to have started in the muggle world. They call it, "COVID-19". The only thing is, many people don't actually believe it started with Muggles, nor do I. We think it started with the Death Eaters.
You see, Death Eaters were supposedly long gone after the fall of Lord Voldemort, the only person they had to be able to survive while being evil. Now that Voldemort is dead, all his followers are weak and scared, because they'll be killed if anyone discovers them. They went into hiding years ago, and nobody has seen them again, although there are traces that Death Eaters are not gone, as some found the Dark Mark drawing on pieces of paper left in dark alleys that are rather new. You see, there's so much stuff I want to tell you but I can't write it all down! So I'll tell you this: many wizards and witches have come to the conclusion that former Death Eaters- or their children (who would now be young adults), may be rising again and we think that they themselves have created this "virus" or hex, just to get at defenseless Muggles and eventually, to the wizarding world. Yes, this deadly disease has been transmitted to muggles, squibs, and magical folk alike, including a few students at Hogwarts.
