Diary of a First-Year Hufflepuff
It’s me, Grace. I’m a first-year Hufflepuff who likes to write my day at Hogwarts. I hope you find my diary interesting and enjoyable and I hope that future generation first-years will also learn as they go, just like I did. Many of these entries are based on actual events happening in my life, but obviously I twist the stories a little to make them more magical!

Spring Break
Chapter 23
Dear Diary,
I haven't written here for a long time, ever since spring break started. And no, I am not in the common room, in fact, I am not at Hogwarts at all! I am at my parents' house hanging with my big bro and sis. I am simply sitting on the couch and writing. I had a lot of fun with my parents this past week. We've been taking walks, shopping, watching TV, and doing other things. My parents have already gone to bed, so it's just me and my siblings doing our thing. I am really sad though because tomorrow is Friday, which means I have to get on the train and ride back to Hogwarts. Classes! The misery. Oh, how I am so excited for summer break in a couple of months! But I also must face the fact that this summer is where my diary ends. After all, this is my first-year diary. Let's see what the next year has to bring! And who knows, maybe I'll start a diary of a second-year Hufflepuff.
