Diary of a First-Year Hufflepuff
It’s me, Grace. I’m a first-year Hufflepuff who likes to write my day at Hogwarts. I hope you find my diary interesting and enjoyable and I hope that future generation first-years will also learn as they go, just like I did. Many of these entries are based on actual events happening in my life, but obviously I twist the stories a little to make them more magical!

The Acceptance

Dear Diary,
Great news. Today I was accepted into the HDN! If you read my entry from yesterday, you know what I'm talking about. I was accepted to become a journalist and write articles! As I mentioned in my last entry, the Hogwarts Daily News is a news source specifically dedicated to Hogwarts students. It was founded by a Hogwarts student named Samantha Love who has finished her seventh year and has moved on. Since then, there have been applications open to all Hogwarts students who can apply. The jobs are researcher, journalist, and advertiser. I am a journalist now! I can't wait to be able to write my first article for other students to read. Anyways, I have to go. Bye!
