Diary of a First-Year Hufflepuff
It’s me, Grace. I’m a first-year Hufflepuff who likes to write my day at Hogwarts. I hope you find my diary interesting and enjoyable and I hope that future generation first-years will also learn as they go, just like I did. Many of these entries are based on actual events happening in my life, but obviously I twist the stories a little to make them more magical!

Chapter 1
Dear Diary,
I am so excited. I just got my Hogwarts Acceptance Letter! Of course, it wasn't that much of a surprise, because my mom went to Hogwarts and so did my dad. I'm a half-blood. Well... my dad is a half-blood and my mom is a pure-blood, so I guess that still makes me a half-blood. But my friends all refer to me as a pure-blood, and I'm fine with that!
Anyways, this afternoon I'm going to go to Diagon Alley and get all my equipment. I'm just so happy! I'm planning on also getting a female red fox to bring with me to Hogwarts. Well... it doesn't say that in the pet policy... but Ron brought a rat, and Ginny brought a Pygmy Puff, right? Anyways, I have to go now, I'll write some more soon!
