In the Great Hall, Delphini and her supporters were duelling those who sided with Hogwarts, each side fighting with all their might.

 Albus, the new leader of the war, was duelling Pansy Parkinson, Delphini’s right-hand woman, with James and Scorpius by his side.

 During her duel with the three boys, Pansy fired a Killing Curse that nearly hit Scorpius.

 Marigold immediately turned towards Pansy, determined to finish off the woman who nearly killed the boy whom she viewed as a brother.

 But Sirius, who had been duelling Delphini alongside Professors McGonagall and Longbottom, was faster.

 “GET AWAY FROM MY SON!” he snarled ferociously in a way Marigold had never seen before.

 Scorpius stood there, stunned into surprise.

 “OUT OF THE WAY!” Sirius boomed, shoving the boys aside, facing Pansy, whose sneering laugh turned into a menacing glare.

 Andromeda, Narcissa, Lucius, George, Harry, Ginny, Ernie, Draco, Teddy, Victoire, Louis and William, all of whom were duelling Delphini’s other supporters, stepped into Sirius’s defence.

 “You lot move, I’ll finish her off myself,” Sirius commanded, before turning back to Pansy.

 “He’s not your son!” she scoffed.

 “He’s as good as,” Sirius shot back nonchalantly.

 Scorpius felt a lump in his throat that he tried his best to ignore.

 “Maybe you can protect your dear Scorpius, but you weren’t there for Marigold when she was facing me. Or for your darling werewolf husband,” Pansy sneered. “What if I told you that Teddy and Andy were next?”

 Sirius was trembling with fury.

 “YOU - WILL - NEVER - LAY - A - HAND - ON - MY - FAMILY - AGAIN!” he bellowed.

 Sirius and Pansy began firing spells at each other, both determined to kill the other.

 “CRUCIO!”

 Sirius pointed his wand at Pansy, who fell to the ground, shrieking in pain; he continued, his grey eyes filled with murderous rage.

 At last, Sirius fired his last spell.

 “Avada Kedavra!”

 That was the end. Pansy’s motionless body lay sprawled on the ground.

 Sirius stood in front of her triumphantly at his act of revenge on behalf of Alistair and Catherine Bell, whom Pansy had killed years ago, only for her to end up in the same fate.

 Alyssa stood there, devastated. However, that was nothing compared to the awful scream from a mile away.

 “NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!”

 The scream was from Delphini, who threw her fists into the air, screaming in fury.

 The movement caused by her wand made the windows shatter into pieces. The roars from the Fiendfyre below the castle were echoing across the Great Hall.

 Delphini charged after Sirius like an angry bull, ready to attack him at any moment.
