“You’re not gonna believe what I just heard,” Andrew announced, storming into the Gryffindor common room.

 “What is it?” Marigold, who was sitting in a chair in front of the fireplace, asked.

 “What happened?” James, who was sitting across from her, asked.

 “My mum just sent me an owl,” Andrew said, showing them the letter. “She told me that Delphini gained a position at the Ministry of Magic.

 James dropped his quill, knocking over his ink bottle.

 “You can’t be serious.”

 Marigold couldn’t believe her ears either.

 “Your mother works at the Ministry of Magic, doesn’t she?”

 “If she told me, that means it must be true.” Andrew nodded.

 “I can’t believe it,” Marigold buried her face into her hands; she wished it was all just a horrible nightmare, that it will all go away.

 One morning, Clover came flying into the Great Hall during breakfast; he dropped a newspaper in front of Marigold.

 “What is that?” James asked.

 “Isn’t it obvious?” Andrew asked. “It’s a newspaper, you daft dimbo.”

 “I got a subscription to the Daily Prophet. This is the best way I can keep up with everything about Delphini.” Marigold explained as she immediately opened the paper; an annoyed Clover began pecking on her.

 “Fine,” she said, patting him on the head. “Thanks. Are you happy now?”

 Clover, now satisfied, playfully nibbled on Marigold’s ear; he then started poking through someone’s cornflakes.

 “You should start paying Clover for your subscription,” James joked.

 “I’ll let him have my food every time he drops off my mail,” Marigold said; she pushed her plate towards Clover and began reading the newspaper.

 “This is a lot worse than I thought.” she frowned. “It says here that Delphini plans to remove Muggles and Muggle-borns from Great Britain when she becomes Minister for Magic.”

 Marigold showed her friends the front page. Under the headlines “Voldemort’s daughter in the Ministry,” it read “Delphini’s plan to “make the wizarding world great again” in smaller print. Underneath, there was a photo of Delphini, who was staring into the camera; she had a determined look on her face that made Marigold shiver.

 “This is horrible,” Andrew said, disgusted. “Make the wizarding world great again. Ugh.”

 “Do you think Delphini will do what Voldemort did to Muggles and Muggle-borns years ago?” Marigold asked.

 “What if she invades Hogwarts the way he did?” James added.

 “No way,” Andrew said. “We have Professor McGonagall here. I doubt that Delphini will invade Hogwarts or start a war here or hurt anyone as long as Professor McGonagall is around.”
