Chapter 2

I ran to the and had difficulty breathing, as if my body had been hollowed out.

The scene before leaving the house in the morning reappeared.

That super wordy woman, I call her mother. But I won't forgive her, never!

Bang!

A loud noise ended my wishful thinking and marathon escape.

The gray sky in front of me, the solid land behind me and the pain all over told me that I had just hit a hard thing.

When I got up from the ground again, there were two people in front of me, two tall people with fierce eyes. More importantly, they were wearing ancient costumes.

"Hey bro! I'm lost. I don't know why I'm here. You --" I suddenly shut up.

They began to talk to each other in a language I didn't understand. Not Korean, not Japanese, as if the language of a minority.

Then I saw their swords coming out of their scabbards and a cold light passing in front of me. I subconsciously avoided them and raised my hands to protect my head.

I watched strangely as blood flowed from my hands and down my arms to my body.

Just now one of them cut off two fingers of my left hand and three fingers of my right hand with a knife.

And his original goal was my head.

Without waiting for me to think more, the man cut me a second knife.

Run!

I ran with all my strength, but I could still feel the edge of the knife cutting the muscles of my back.

Great pain, but I can't care.

Keep running like hell.

Run.

Run.

Run.

In the past, most people's minds would be blank when their lives were at stake in reading, but now my mind is more agile than ever.

After thinking while running, I began to accept this setting - I have got Chrono Cross.

Yes, ancient costumes, the language of nomads, kill (CHOP) people without blinking an eye.

It's awesome, and it's tragic.

After running for a long time, I gradually lost my strength, and the pain of my wound became more and more serious.

I'm bleeding. I'm bleeding a lot.

I collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath and looking behind me.

They stood less than a meter behind me and couldn't see fatigue at all! They laughed, and the laughter floated around, aggravating my despair.

Suddenly, one of them stopped smiling.

I know, my time of death has come!

Hand up, knife down

Bang!

Ah, no! Gunfire!

It was a gunshot!

The ancient soldier in front of me fell down, and his companion was obviously flustered.

"My child! Your master is a little late!" An old voice rang.

Good. It's getting more and more like crossing.

Bang! Another shot rang and the remaining soldier fell down.

As he fell, I saw the scene behind me.

An old man, like the old priest in the church, came to me with a gun in his hand and riding a strange shaped bicycle.

I smiled. Yes, I really smiled. Seeing this scene, I was sure that I was in a dream.

I got up excitedly and pinched myself.

Pinch. Pinch. Pinch. Pinch

Nope. This is not a dream.

When I looked back at the scene in front of me, there was no laughing point, but there was a kind of strangeness, which made me lose all my judgment in an instant.

"My child! I'm coming!" The birthday star came to me by bike and said to me with a smile.

I just repeated a sentence in my heart: this guy is not a master, this guy is not a master

Suddenly, the old man stopped smiling and raised his gun to me. His eyebrows were full of hostility.

I was paralyzed by fear again.

After decades of stalemate, the old man away his gun and laughed again:

"Not bad. You are worthy of being my student!"
