The source of your magic:

no one knows for sure where it comes from. It's typically passed down through family. But it's possible that the parents can be magical but the kids not this term is a "squib" even though they cannot use magic and they still possess the latter ability to detect magical activity or use magical devices. People of muggle history can possess magical abilities this term is often described as "muggle born" no blood type is superior to another. 

spell casting components:

spellcasting components are what breakdown or what is needed to perform a spell. They are incantation and pronunciation, wand movement, willpower and concentration. 

The incantation is basically "magic words" they must  be spoken with proper pronunciation or, at best, nothing with happen. Some witches ad wizards can cast spells without the use of incantation, but it take many years of practice. 

the wand movement is the shape that you make in the air with the want to help shape the spell. When used with an incantation it's said to help getting the desired effect. It is possible to do a spell without a wand or wand movement however this isn't common. 

willpower is the magical strength and focus needed to correctly perform and spell. It's one of the most difficult components to master, but strong willpower is key to practicing advanced magic. 

concentration is centering your mind on your magic and the desired effect in order to make a spell work. It includes the target of your magic and what you want your magic to do. 

"Flight" charms:

Hover charm:

incantation: levioso

wand movement: inward spiral then upward flick

Willpower: moderate (determined how heavy of an object can be lifted)

concentration: none

 notes: once cast upon an object that YOURE physically touching in some way it allows you to move that object up and down  

rocket charm:

incantation: alarte ascendare

wand movement: quick swish

willpower: high(determines how high the object will ascend before falling)

concentration: none

notes: this doesn't require you to be touching the target, but it's only capable of propelling an object straight up in the air and back down  

floating charm:

incantation: fluito

wand movement: jab then upward flick

willpower: High to very high depending on weight and distance of the target  

conce:moderate(should be maintained on the object)

notes: this spell can target an object in the distance rather than requiring physical contact. Objects can only be levitated a handful of feet into the air and cannot be directed to move any other way besides up and down   

Levitation charm:

incantation: wingardium leviosa

willpower: low

concentration : moderate 

notes: was invented by jarleth Hobart  it allows the caster to control not only the virticle movements of an object but it's back and forth or side to side. It can be used on humans however this can only be done by  very studied and practiced witches and wizards and should never be attempted by a student. Casting this recklessly on another person can cause them serious injury from the force of being thrown in the aint and then falling back to the ground with nothing slowing them down. As you say wingadium start the "swish"  then when you finish saying leviosa do the "flick". Keep mind focused on the target of the spell.
