Mandrake / Mandragora
- common in Europe
- parsnip with wrinkled roots and the shape of a being 
- height : from 5 to 40cm
- looks like tobacco plant
- grows well where men have been hung

- medium to heavy soil
- water concentration : 3/4th of the plant's weight

- causes hallucinations, coma (contact), dreamlike states
- used in sleeping potions, love potions, cure petrification
- uprooted, its scream can kill. It stops screaming after the first facility.

- uproot method in Medieval era : dog tied to Mandrake, uproot it when following its master, killed by the scream
- nowadays : submerse it in an aquatandisu potion. After several seconds, the plant will stop moving and will be ready for harvest.

- cure coma : wash spot of contact, send for a trained healer to administer a tandisu injection

Devil's Snare / Dassin sanate
- Scottish highlands and lowlands
- grows in dark and damp areas (caves and sloughs)
- swaying plant tendrils, vivid green

- no seed, must be collected
- to grow it, surrond area with light so it doesn't spread beyond it

- attacks when one's back is turned, asleep, or already in its grasp
- strangulation kills faster if one struggles : play dead to be dropped
- hates light and heat (Incendio, Lumos Maxima)
- used to guard objects, assassinate enemies, or as a distraction
- law of MoM : not within 1 000 meters of anywhere muggles frequent

- treat the person for strangulation and suffocation (Rennervate, Anapneo)

Bubotuber
- Scotland
- giant black slug
- releases gas-scented yellow pus when squeezed

- dark, nutrient rich soil
- requires very little sunlight, can survive cold weather
- lots of fertilizer recommanded (dragon dung)

- pus causes rashes and burns on contact
- diluted pus (with dittany or gellywater) cures acne
- pus loses its scent after time

- burns : rince under clean cold water, and apply dittany. + potion for pain

Details required include: types of hazards associated with the plant, possible side effects from contact with this plant, and how you would/did counter these affects. Pay most attention to detailing the protective and healing measures you would/did take.

My grandmother used to grew some bubotuber plants for my brother, who was suffering acne when he was younger. She had planted it in a dark area of her garden, with a lot of dragon dung, since her soil wasn't nutrient enough. She would always tell us not to touch the plants, because it would burn our skin and give us rashes. We didn't listen, and one day, we tried to squeeze it like our grandma did to get the pus. Of course, when she was doing it, she was using dragon-hide gloves to avoid getting hurt. We were bare handed, and got some burns. We came home crying, and my grandmother had to take care of our injuries. She had us rince our hands under clean, fresh water, and applied dittany on the burns. My brother burns were more serious than mine, and he complained a lot, so my grandmother gave him a light potion for the pain. This was a good lesson, and since then we don't go around unknown plants without protection !
