Tess Falcon; First Year At Hogwarts {Finished Book}

written by Faye Chuchoter

Nonoahohay Falcon was not a normal person. Normal people aren't born with a wizard for a dad and a mermaid for a mum, witches that get invited to a magical school, get a wand at a wizarding shop, have a godmother that can change her looks at will, can't talk to snakes or are related to the greatest known Dark wizard of all time. Nonoahohay (or Tess) has no idea of the challenges and hardships she will face as she goes through her first year at Hogwarts.

Saving Ginny

Chapter 31

I finally persuaded Harry and Ron to let me come with them.  Harry led the way into a small girl's bathroom by where the first attack happened.  I stared at them, wondering why they weren't bothered about it.  Harry called to a ghost named Moaning Myrtle.

I wasn't paying attention to his little quiz, because I was thinking like crazy of Ginny.  What if she wasn't dead yet?  Harry walked over to a sink and I helped him and Ron inspect it.  I saw it first; a small snake on a tap.  I said, "Hey, look what I found!"  Somehow, I knew I should, so I hissed to it, "Open up."  The sink moved and soon all of the sinks had created a large entrance to a pipe.  To the Chamber of Secrets.  Ron and Lockhart stared at me.  I shrugged and said, "Who's first?"

Ron shoved Lockhart down, and then Harry went down, then Ron.  I slid down last.  The pipe was big, but slippery.  I flew out of the bottom and landed with a crunch on the floor, which was covered with small animal bones.  Quickly, I got up and we started to head down the tunnel.

We came across some BIG snake skin, and Lockhart seized an opportunity.  He grabbed Ron's wand, and, before anyone could react, cast the memory charm.  Sadly, Ron's wand was broken, so rocks began to fall from the ceiling.  I dove aside and knocked Harry further down the tunnel.  We both fell, coughing to the ground.  "Ron?!"  Harry yelled.  I heard a muffled response.  There were big rocks seperating us and Ron with Lockhart.  He told us to continue, and started to shift the rocks.

Harry looked at me and shrugged.  We came to a stop much later in front of scary-looking snake statues.  Harry and I hissed at the same time, "Open up."  An entrance was formed, and we clambered into a massive chamber.  The Chamber of Secrets.  I gasped.  There was a small redheaded figure lying on the ground close by.  "Ginny!"  Harry yelled, and ran up to her.  I stayed behind, because Harry said that I can be backup if anything attacks him or he dies.  I hid.  A young man stepped out of the shadows and Harry talked with him.  I didn't pay attention; I hate to eavesdrop.  A phoenix and the Sorting Hat were soon in the chamber with Harry.  I don't know how hew got it, but somehow he did.  All of a sudden, a huge serpent came out of nowhere and I closed my eyes, almost.  They were barely open so that I could pay attention.  The basilisk headed right for me.  It struck me in the shoulder and I could do nothing about it.  I heard Harry yell, "NO!"  The young man said in clear Parseltongue, "No, not that girl, get the boy!  You can smell him!"  The basilisk struck me again on my leg and I collapsed.  "NO!  Get the boy!  Don't waste time on her!  GET THE BOY!"  The last thing I saw was the phoenix fly towards me, crying.  I passed out.  Or maybe I even died.
