Tess Falcon; First Year At Hogwarts {Finished Book}

written by Faye Chuchoter

Nonoahohay Falcon was not a normal person. Normal people aren't born with a wizard for a dad and a mermaid for a mum, witches that get invited to a magical school, get a wand at a wizarding shop, have a godmother that can change her looks at will, can't talk to snakes or are related to the greatest known Dark wizard of all time. Nonoahohay (or Tess) has no idea of the challenges and hardships she will face as she goes through her first year at Hogwarts.

Midnight Eavesdropping

Chapter 15
"-Dobby can't, sir, Dobby can't, Dobby mustn't tell!  Go home, Harry Potter, go home!" Said a high-pitched voice.  "I'm not going anywhere!  One of my best friends is Muggle-born; she'll be first in line if the
Chamber really has been opened -" Said another voice that sounded like Harry's.  "Harry Potter risks his own life for his
friends!  So noble! So
valiant! But he must save himself, he must, Harry Potter must not- Dobby must go!"

I heard a large crack.  My eyelids felt heavy, and I hurt all over.  I couldn't move, and the pain was so unbearable.  Oh, why can't I just go back to sleep?  And I think I just barged into some weird conversation!  What was that, anyways?  Oh well.  I listened to some footsteps pass by where I was.  I heard voices.

"Get Madam Pomfrey." Said an old man's voice.  "What happened?" Madam Pomfrey's voice asked.  "Another attack.  Minerva found him on the stairs."  The old man answered.  "There was a bunch of grapes next to him.  We think he was trying to sneak up here to visit
Potter." I heard what sounded like Professor McGonagall's voice say.  "Petrified?"Madam Pomfrey whispered."  "Yes, but I shudder
to think ... If Albus hadn't been on the way downstairs for hot
chocolate - who knows what might have -" answered Professor McGonagall. "You don't think he managed to get a picture of his attacker?"  "Good gracious!" said Madam Pomfrey.  I could barely smell burnt plastic.  "Melted.  All melted..."  Madam Pomfrey murmured.  "What does this mean, Albus?" Professor McGonagall asked.

"It means that the Chamber of Secrets is indeed open again."    "But, Albus ... surely ... who?" "The question
is not who.  The question is, how..." I heard voices again, and then a door open and close.  Someone passed by me again, and I heard Madam Pomfrey.  "Oh!  You're awake!  Here, drink this.  You'll fall asleep in no time.  Besides, you need the rest."  She opened my mouth and poured some slimy, gross, acid drink into it.  I swallowed, and my throat hurt even more from the energy it took to swallow.

The last thought I had before I fell back asleep was that I had no idea how Madam Pomfrey knew I was awake.  I hadn't even moved an inch...
