This is a steampunk-type book of two Britannic fugitives running from the Victorian government in the year 2028, the time of Queen Victoria XII, and the era being known as the Victoria II. To Columbia
Chapter 4
We packed up our things and covered our faces so that nobody could see us and try to get us for the 100,000 Pound reward. We dashed through Steambucks Coffee and to the Blimp Express ticket booth.
"Dwight Larken and Arcus Kern. To Columbia."
Luckily, the person running the booth did not know about our criminal background, since it was only a day since the posters were put up.
"You'll be riding on the blimp shortly. Ten minutes left." said the man running the booth.
Arcus and I sat in a corner so that nobody would notice us.
Arcus sighed.
"I don't know what's going to happen anymore. What if we ever get caught?"
"Columbia is pretty far from Icarus, so most people won't notice us for a while."
"But what if a guy from Icarus - who knows about us - gets there and gets everyone to try and catch us?"
"That's when we go somewhere else. I don't know where yet, but probably somewhere without people yet still able to support life."
"You're talking as if we're going to go survive in the wilderness."
"That's basically what it is. Trying to survive-"
"Everyone, it is time for the blimp to go. All aboard!" called the ticket booth manager.
"Let's go." I said.
Off to Columbia.
