The First Day
Chapter 5
Our trip is 4 days and today was the first day of the trip. I woke up at about 8 o'clock. It seemed that I woke up when everyone else did and I worked up and saw mom and dad in the kitchen and Amanda Cooper was in the sitting room watching some news. I made a breakfast of pancakes for everyone. After breakfast Amanda and I wondered what we should do. Then we decided to make a To-Do List that looked like this:
GO TO THE GYM
GO TO THE SWIMMING POOL
WATCH TV
GO ON A WALK
GO IN SAUNA
PLAY A BOARD GAME
So that was our list. We both decided that it is better that we go to the water park tomorrow and make it a whole day thing. The first thing we did was go to the gym. We spent 1 hour in the gym and did a total cardio workout. After that we were so tired, then we decided to go on a walk through the park nearby. The walk was nice and relaxing. It was a 1 hour walk. When we went to the park we saw this huge maple tree that was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It’s leaves were all different colors even though it was not fall time yet. After the walk we decided that it was time to go to the pool. We went upstairs and got our bathing suits ready. When we arrived at the pool we thought that it was going to be freezing cold water. But surprisingly, it was actually pretty warm and the water was very clear. After we just swam a few races for like half an hour we decided to do Marco-Polo for half an hour. After that we decided to get 2 lemonades from the in-pool bar. Then we decided to go to the sauna to dry off. The sauna was SUPER HOT but it was SUPER RELAXING. After that we decided to chill and watch TV on the coach. We did that for half an hour. Then we had lunch . We went to the nearest gas station and bought Lunchables, my favorite. Then we went back to the hotel and went up to the room and watched TV for another half an hour. Then mom and dad came into the room and said “We are going to go to this area” “What area?” I asked. “ It’s a surprise,” they said. The car ride was a 7 minute trip. Finally, we arrived at the place and when I looked around I felt a gush of joy burst through my body. We were in six flags that were filled with fun rides. Personally, I love roller coasters so you could imagine how happy I was when I noticed that we were in six flags. The rest of the day all 4 of us went on rides until 5:50pm that was when we called it a day and went back home. We arrived at home at 6 which was perfect timing for the family to try the lasagna I cooked for them. After we had dinner we decided to play a board game that I packed. We played the game for 2 and a half hours. That's when we went to sleep. All in all, I think that was a super fun day and I can not wait to see what we are going to do next. Little did I know that there would be a surprise at the end of the trip that would way,way better.
