Chapter 1
I am Abigail Smith. I lived my whole life in Washington D.C. with my aunt and uncle, my cousins, my friends, my family, my grandparents and Bailey and Kayla, my dogs. I go to Janny Elementary School. My bestie is Amanda cooper. I am 10 and the youngest in my class. Also I’m so ready for spring break. At school, I asked Amanda Cooper (my BFF) she said “ Not really I don’t have anything to look forward to” “What is their not to look forward to.I am going to Colorado also Bailey and Kayla are coming to” I said “aww”amanda said in a cheery voice “sounds fun! can I come?”she said”Why not let me ask my step dad”.At home,I asked my step dad.I gave him those puppy dog eyes.He can’t resist.He said”sure sweetie”. I was so happy this really was going to be the best spring break ever.
