Japan's Location

Japan is an island nation in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of the Sea of Japan, China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The characters that make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is often referred to as the "Land of the Rising Sun". Japan has a total of 6,852 islands extending along the Pacific coast of East Asia which are covered in  forested, mountainous, and unsuitable for agricultural ,industrial  or residential use.

North And South Japan

In Japan they are separated by north and south Japan. North Japan is mostly country which means that wizards are  much more free. Many wizards and witches have done many things like creating their own Quidditch teams and practicing nature magic because of the beauty of the country around them. Majority of the population lives there (both magical and non-magical) and works there. There few magical jobs here and many  muggle jobs because of the increasing amount of muggles because of the increasing technology being developed and created there. So there for the Japanese Empire of Magic is located in the southern part of Japan

South Japan is not as famous as North Japan because the northern part of it is considered the birth place of the Japanese culture. This part of the Japan is mostly  referred as" the bottom of most visitors' itineraries" and "no major sights". Since the empire is here they enforce more rules and laws that will limit contact with muggles. Things like you are required to dress up as a muggle if attending muggle school and all magic must be concealed.

The Japanese Empire of Magic  & Its Departments

The Japanese Empire of Magic or the 日本の魔法帝国 consist of many careers and magical opportunities to all magical people. But they, as I said before, are extremely restricting because of their current emperor who  believes in the philosophy of Legalism. Legalism is a philosophy that enforces harsh laws and that human nature is evil naturally.

The Japanese Empire of Magic is located in a supreme court located in Tokyo. Usually working there is a wizard disguised as a muggle who lets wizards and witches into to the empire. If you get past him he will lead you to a filthy bathroom and in there is a mirror that transport you to the lobby of the empire of magic. Only wizards, witches, and magical beings can get transported by the mirror.

Now the lobby where you are transported is a grand circular room that leads to different rooms of the different departments there. In the middle is usually a security guard that will ask you to present your wizarding license instead of your wand. These licenses are given out only to legal wizarding citizens in Japan.

Their departments are just like the British Ministry of Magic. They have the Wizenmagot but is called the Group of Magical Elders or 魔法の長老たちのグループ. They also have the Magical Enforcement Department which mostly consists of enforcing the laws against muggle contact. The only difference about the British magical government and the Japanese Magical government is that the Japanese have the  Excess Dealings with Muggles department. These are special trained wizards who do all things from erasing muggles' memories, keeping magical exposure scarce, and monitoring all magical beings.

Historical Events
- Around 500 B.C. (or the Yayoi period)  they were introduced to farming, a new pottery style, and metallurgy by wizards from Korea and China

- In 1336 the emperor Go-Daigo was over thrown by a wizard named  Ashikaga Takauji who used a Killing Curse because the emperor's tyranny

-1603 the Japanese Empire of Magic was created because they knew more wars will come and wanted the magical population safe

-When the first atomic bomb was dropped on South Japan, employees of the Empire used Protection Charms and sent out Healers to help muggles and wizards

-On March 11, 2011, Japan suffered the strongest earthquake in its recorded history and the wizard population either moved or hid in the Empire's bunkers

The Japanese Empire symbol will be posted on my feed this Saturday(I hope)
