Chapter 1 - That horrible day
Chapter 1
Evie and Mimmi Carter walked down the stairs, their brother Jack was talking to their parents. Dan Carter and Elizabeth Carter were both talking to Jack, he was frowning. "We're moving" said Elizabeth. Dan put a hand on Jack's shoulder and pat him. Evie and Mimmi came running down, screaming "What?!". Elizabeth and Dan looked at each other. "Yes," said Dan "Yes, we are moving girls". Jack stared at the four of them, not knowing how to react. Elizabeth and Dan gave each other looks and Dan put an arm around Elizabeth. "We're leaving now you three" Dan said. Elizabeth nodded. "WHAT?!" the siblings screamed. Evie stormed out of the house, her long blond hair dancing behind her. Mimmi ran after her, she saw her sister sobbing on the porch, she walked to her and said: "Hey, what's wrong?".
"Everything" Evie cried. Mimmi sat down next to her and hugged Evie. "Evie..." she said. "It's not gonna be that bad".
"WHAT D'YOU MEAN?" she sobbed. "ALL MY FRIENDS, MY CHEERLEADING TEAM, SCHOOL, THIS PLACE, ALL GONE!!" she screamed. Mimmi put her hand on Evie's back, rubbed it, then went back inside. Jack brought all the luggage, his mom and dad carrying everything else. Mimmi took out her phone and rand her best friend, Amy Anderson. "Hey Amy, I'm moving" she said, nervously. "No... I won't let you" Amy replied. "Aww, Amy, I-" Mimmi didn't know what to say. "When?" Amy asked. "N-now" Mimmi stammered. They both looked at each other from the camera and hung up. They all went out, Jack saw that Evie had calmed down a bit. "Get in kids" Dan said. Mimmi, Evie, and Jack all st at the back. Elizabeth and Dan were loading everything. The two got into the car. "Ready?" Dan said. They all looked at him. "Of course we are, we're not gonna miss ANYTHING about this ol' place" Evie said sarcastically. Jack chuckled and said: "So true!". Dan started the car and they drove to the airport. They checked in, they checked all their luggage in, soon enough, they walked to the plane. They were about to board, then Jack said that he left his phone somewhere, he looked around and picked it up from the floor. They all went on the plane, the siblings casting dirty looks at their parents.
