~Amber's pov.~

I spend the rest of the day with Peter. Dad likes him more than Barry and so do I. Peter leaves at 9 and I head off to bed. I set my alarm clock and put on some silk pajamas. I fall asleep right away. I wake up early and head to the shower. I blow dry my hair and put on a blue long sleeve sweater with a jean shirt. I put on a gold necklace and do some natural-looking makeup. I head down the stairs and eat a quick breakfast. I put on my white shoes. Everyone is in the training room so I head over there before I leave. "Bye!!" I wave and head away. "Bye!!" They all yell back.

I grab my backpack and open the door. I see Peter standing in his blue hoodie with jeans and black shoes. He is wearing a comic shirt again and I love it. He smiles at me and I smile back. "Good morning," I say and grab his hand as we start walking to the bus stop. "Good morning. And why do you always look so good??" He asks and nudges me playfully. I laugh and he does too. 'Well, idk. Maybe it's from my family nature or something." I shrug it off and the conversation ends because the bus arrives. I get on and Tyler eyes my outfit. I glare at him and let my eyes turn red for a second.

I blink and they turn normal before anyone sees. "Come on..." Peter tugs my arm because apparently, I was standing there glaring for a while people started looking weirded out. I rest my head on Peter's shoulder while he rubs my hand. "Can we ditch school today??" I whisper to him when we get off. "Where would we go??" He whispers back and leads me to homeroom, History. I sit down next to him and turn my seat to him so I can talk to him. "Idk... anywhere but here. Everyone is looking at me weirdly...are my eyes different??" He shakes his head. "No, they are normal. I have an idea where we could go..."

"Where??" I start putting my books back in my bag. "California??" I sit there frozen. He looks confused. "Amber are you--er--ok??" I get up and go out the door. My mind is far away...in California. The last time I went there. I hurry out of the school and bump into a lot of people. I'm almost to the door but a hand grabs my shoulder and spins me around. I look up and see Barry's face close to mine. Before I can get away he kisses me. I pull away and back away. "Go away." "Amber, pls let me explain!!" He begs. I shake my head. "You cheated there is nothing to explain." "Amber, she forced herself on me I didn't do anything. I love you Amber and only you." I stand there frozen. "Y-you don't tho...you never did..." "Amber, I did. I always have. Pls...give us another try..." "No!! Because you cheated. You only liked my body!! You had a whole make-out sesh with her!!" My voice gets louder until I'm yelling. "You even said I meant nothing to you!! And now you want me back!! NO!! You don't get to have me!! You broke me!! You're a horrible person!!" I turn away leaving him standing there and with tries falling down his face.

I push through the crowd that formed. I get out of the school and sprint home. I knock on the door of the training room and she Nat and Thor there. "Little girl," Thor says. "What are you doing back?? Don't you have school or something??" Nat puts her weights down and comes over to me. "Get changed and come down here as fast as you can. Time to train." I nod and sprint up the stairs. I change into purple pants with a purple crop top with a cute design in the back. I rush downstairs with my hair up in a bun. They both blink apparently they didn't expect me to come down in a minute.

Nat shows me some starter punches. I work on my kick boxes and punches on a punching bag. I like all my anger and feeling out onto it. Thor helps me with the weights. Nat also shows me how to throw knives. I threw one, got mad, and broke the rest in my hand. Oops. By the time they helped me with everything it was 3 o'clock. I go upstairs and take a quick shower. I blow dry my hair again and put on my silk pajamas. I go downstairs and get a snack. I head back upstairs and see Peter knocking on my new windows. Upside down again. I open the window and take off his mask once he is inside. I kiss him quickly and go to my bed. He lays down next to me. "What did you do today??" He asks while we watch a random movie and eat popcorn and pretzels.

"Oh, I trained with Thor and Nat today. I'm doing pretty good but I broke a lot of knives by crushing them. Oops." He laughs and soon I start laughing too. But somehow that went to us kissing each other. We break apart and I lay my head on his chest. I fall asleep there and he falls asleep also.
