Rowena was born in Scotland, sometime in the tenth century. Rowena, whose family was mostly Ravenclaws, was close friends with Helga Hufflepuff. She had a wand at an unknown time with an unknown way. Some say Rowena produced the wand herself, while others say she bought it from the Ollivander family, who have been making wands since 382 BC.
Also in the tenth century, Rowena, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff and Godric Gryffindor; they became very close friends. When opening Hogwarts they all had a common goal: to open the world's best magic school.
