Rowena was a beautiful lady. People mostly talked about her black, raven-colored hair. You could also easily get lost in her dark eyes. Although she was beautiful, she looked harsh and scary; therefore everyone who saw her felt obliged to listen to Rowena.
She was tall and graceful, and if you look at her photographs you can see that she mostly wears blue robes, which is Ravenclaw's main color, she also wore a diadem on her head head in most of her photos. Legend has it that the person who wears this diadem becomes very wise and intelligent.
