If you are reading this book right now, you must want to succeed at Hogwarts.  I first want to tell you what you'll be reading about.  This is a book about every possible thing you need to know about being a responsible student.  You will learn about rules and expectations.  You may be thinking that this is too much, but these rules will help you be successful.  Every student at Hogwarts definitely has potential.  I will just list some basic rules which should be review for you. ( Hopefully.). 

- Don't guess on your class work.  It's really important to do good in academics.  

- When you're writing an essay, don't X out.  All of your work will be gone.

- When you are connecting with your friends in your house's common room, don't post any mean comments.
