Katniss: The Train Ride
Chapter 1
When I enter the train I go find Peeta knowing he is on this train. I knock on a glass door and I open it. I pop my head through the door and say " I'm looking for a boy about yay tall with ashy blonde hair and blue eyes. Have you seen him?"
Inside there are two girls. They introduce themselves as Mia and Becca.
Mia has blonde hair that's in a fishtail. Becca has auburn hair that's naturally wavy.
Mia speaks up " We did he walked up maybe two seats up or so. Bring him back to us. "
" You do know he's my boyfriend."
Mia blushes bright red.
Well. I'm just gonna look for him. I pop my head out of the door and head two seats up. I look through the glass to find him sleeping. I roll my eyes.
" Oh Peeta"
I open the door and go sit next to him. I shake him and he instantly wakes up.
" Oh hi, Katniss."
" Enjoying your nap."
Peeta blushes which, makes me feel sorry for waking him up.
" I'm sorry for waking you up" I look down not wanting to meet his eyes.
" You shouldn't be sorry. Mom was in my dreams yelling and if I wanted to hear that I should've just stayed home"
I laugh when he says this knowing that his mom does scream a lot.
" Well, I need to go change into my robes so I'll be back soon."
" Yah I should change out of this"
He points to his usual shirt and hoodie.
I leave and hurry back to Mia and Becca remembering I left my bag there. I open the glass door and find the two still there. Becca stands up.
" Good I'm glad you're back, you left your bag here."
" Yeah, thanks."
Mia speaks up.
" Did you find him?"
" Yah I did"
I start laughing. Becca and Mia look at me weirdly.
" He was sleeping! He had drool running down his face onto his shirt. It was so cute."
" So " Mia starts asking questions about us. " How long have you've known each other?"
I tell the story while getting change.
" So I live in District 12 where there is no food and Peeta's a baker so he can just make food. Oh, shoot I promised him I would go back to him once I finished changing. So I'm gonna go, do you guys wanna come with me?"
The two nod their heads.
" And remember he's my boyfriend, Mia."
Mia nods back
" Oh and by the way my name is Katniss"
