What is Poland syndrome?
Chapter 1
I was born with Poland syndrome. This is a condition which affects one side of your body (for me it's the left!). Normally, it is the upper body. For me, I was born with a considerably smaller left hand missing my index and middle fingers. Also, my 3 fingers on that hand are half the size of my "normal" fingers and my ring finger is kind of bent. To add to this, I was born without the breast muscle again on the left side.
