Chapter 7
Draco, Talia, and I were under the tree, talking, well now it was more like arguing. Draco was trying to convince us that Blaise was an okay guy and Pansy wasn’t a bitch. It wasn’t working.
“Do you not remember what happened on the train?” Talia exclaimed. “Pansy called Lyra a MUDBLOOD! She’s a pureblood for goodness sake!”
“It was a simple mistake, Talia!” Draco exclaimed.
“Draco?” I looked him square in the eye. “Did Pansy or Blaise go near your food?”
“They were right next to me! Of course, they were near my food!”
Talia sighed, “Are you dumb, stupid, or dumb huh?”
“That bitch,” I muttered, rushing off towards the castle.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Draco yelled after me.
“To get Snape to make a potion to cure you!”
“Cure me! I’m not sick!”
I heard Talia mutter, “You’re sickly in love with Pansy.”
I found Professor Snape and explained the situation to him quickly. He was able to brew a counter potion and came with me to make Draco drink the potion.
When he was himself again, Talia slapped him, hard.
“What was that for?”
“FOR BEING A DUMB IDOIT AND LETTING PANSY GIVE YOU A LOVE POTION RIGHT AFTER LYRA TOLD YOU NOT TO TRUST HER OR BLAISE!”
“You’re not slapping Lyra for going to talk to Blaise at lunch?”
“No, because she let out all her anger on him.”
Draco looked surprised, “You let out your anger on someone?”
“Don’t worry, I’m not making a habit of it,” I sighed, remembering how I had exploded when I talked to Blaise earlier. I had gone off on him for everything I could think of. It had not been pretty and Talia had came out and calmed me down so that I didn’t cast a spell on him too. I had been pretty close, and Blaise realized it wasn’t a good idea to talk to me after what had happened with Pansy. I had to remember not to let anyone know that Talia and I were stronger than Draco. If Voldemort found out, he would make us become one of his minions and neither of us wanted to be a part of that. Draco didn’t even want to be a part of it but he was. We had spent the weekend at home with our mother who was helping us try to find a loophole to get Draco out of there. Turns out the only way is if we kill Voldy. And THAT was going to be tough.
