Minor Essays

You don't come across Minor Essays much, but they are an important side of the syllabus. The key to succeeding with Minor Essays is to get straight to the point. Don't dawdle, don't ramble, just make bullet points in sentences and list the key information. The reason why it's called a Minor Essay is because it's usually meant as a small point with the key information on what you're covering.

For instance, Professor Tudor, for Herbology 101, requests a minor essay on a chosen plant (this, I believe, is actually part of the syllabus). You chose aconite. You do some research and present only the point information. Add something out of the box. Give your opinion of a few lines, maybe.

That's the sort of thing they're looking for. Straight information.

Apologies for the short chapter, but I do not wish to repeat myself.
