The Girl of Ink & Stars
Skylar Rose Diggory. My nickname Sky suits me. I love the stars, the sky, and well the universe. I was named after my mom's sister. Her name was Sky-Rose and my dad's uncle, Skylar. I got my letter at the age of 11 to attend Hogwarts. My family had been preparing me for the day that I would get it. My aunt especially. She was living through me almost. She hadn't gotten to go to Hogwarts until she was 15. She had been sick when she received her first letter and when she was well again her brother, Cedric died. Or at least that's what everyone thought. ANYWAYSSSSS, her story is called Always. If you want to read it. It was my fifth year and surprise! Turns out I have a brother. A LONG LOST BROTHER. Who I go to school with. Who I did not know was my brother until well this past summer. And now I have to deal with Slytherins too? Boy, I need an instruction booklet on how to live a normal life.

"There you are!" A voice exclaimed from below me. I glanced down, from my perch on a branch in a tree, to see my best friend, Ava Everglen. She is my aunt's best friend's daughter. We grew up together and when we both received our letters to go to Hogwarts, all our mothers could talk about was their days there. Ava had her dark blue hair up in two buns, and strands of her hair falling and framing her face. She had her golden heart dangly earing handing from her ears and her violet eyes looked up at me curiously. "How on earth did you get up there?"
I blew air out of my mouth, blowing the blond strands of my hair that was in a messy bun at the moment, out of my mouth. I rolled my green eyes, "I climbed or if you're not brave enough you can use your levitation spell." I had green eyes, and like my mother, I wore round glasses to help my blind eyes see.
Ava looked gave me a look before taking out her wand and levitating up to the tree branch where I sat. "What a warm hello," She teased me.
I laughed and gave her a hug, "I missed you!"
"I missed you too!" Ava cried. "Soooo how was your summer?"
I sighed, "I spent most of my summer at my aunt's house trying to understand how I have a step-brother that goes to Hogwarts with us."
"WAIT YOU HAVE A STEP-BROTHER THAT GOES TO SCHOOL WITH US???!!!" Ava exclaimed.
"Lower your voice dummy," I muttered. "Yes. And there's more."
"Well, what is it?"
I took a deep breath, "He's a Slytherin."
