The Ticking Clock (Part Three)
Cynthia stopped in her tracks. This was happening again! Why? She turned around slowly, nervous to see what was happening. As she turned around, she heard a door creaking open. Cynthia rushed down the stairs to go see who or what opened the door. The front door was slightly ajar, so Cynthia walked through it. She saw her uncle’s car out front, that meant he was home. But then, where was he?
Cynthia heard a giggle. She turned a little bit and saw her uncle crouched behind some porch furniture. She was confused. Why was her uncle hiding from her? Cynthia’s uncle came out from his hiding spot.
“Hello uncle,” Cynthia said, “Why are you hiding from me?”
