Chapter 4 : Extinction/Endangerment

Chapter 4
Just like animals Muggles are aware of, like elephants and monkeys, wizards can hunt animals until they are endangered/extinct. Fortunatly, I have a list of what animals are endangered and what you can do to help them.

1 Snidget
2 Lobalug
3 Jobberknoll
4 Horned Serpent
5 Graphorn
What You Can Do To Help:

1B Snidgets might sound familiar to you, even if you are not very into Magical Creatures. The Golden Snidget in the Game of Quiditch gets its name from the Snidget, A very round golden bird. The Snidget is being hunted because of its highly prized golden feathers, and ruby eyes. You can help by volunteering to protect them.
2B The Lobalug highly resembles a squid, it is yellow with blackish blue spots on it. It is being hunted because of its ink it squirts, which is posisonous and very handy in Potion-Making. You can help by making more Eco- Friendly Potions
3B A Jobberknoll is a simple blue bird that is completely harmless, though it is being hunted bacuse of its feathers, which are commonly used in Truth Serums and Memory Potions. You can help by making more Eco-Friendly Potions
4B The Horned Serpent is a highly dangerous snake that is very large, and should not be appoached by more then multiple adult, skilled and trained wizards. It exists globally and is being hunted because of its horns, which are highly valuable in potions if powdered, as well as the jewel on its forehead, which is said to make you able to turn invisible and be able to fly without a broom. You can help by reasearching wizard Isolt Sayre, who was sad to be able to communicate with horned serpents.
5B The Graphorn lives in Europe in the mountains. The Graphorn is very large and hard to fight. It is being hunted for its hide which is surprisingly even tougher than a dragons! Graphorn hide is very hard to get however, because it repels most spells. To help you can make more Eco - Friendly Potions
