Now as a lot of people are starting to have an obsession over draco Malfoy , they like to argue that he was never a jerk and or evil. Now as we all know in the first book/movie harry rejected dracos offer and handshake, a lot of people like to use this as evidence saying this is why he was a jerk. no. either way he was rude , especially to the golden trio. YES! he was misguided and raised by his family and was taught a certain way , which is sad but that doesn't excuse his actions and how he was racist. He used the m-slur a bunch of times referring to half bloods ,and to all you dramione shippers (draco and hermione) I honestly don't see why you ship them, there were not hints to hermione liking draco. A lot of people say that draco liked hermione and well I don't see any evidence of that , he was actually extremely rude to her. I didn't write the books or script the movies but I don't think he liked her. Now back onto topic , yes in the later films draco seemed very hesitant to join Voldemort but that wasn't because he didn't want to be bad , that was simply because he saw how his father was getting treated and probably didn't want to go through that. Yes, draco realized he was being a jerk but that doesn't change he WAS a jerk. Don't get me wrong I like his character but I wouldn't consider him a good guy and not really a bad guy. He is a death eater but wasn't entirely a bad guy , whenever he was supposed to kill someone or hurt someone there was always someone near him trying to convince him to do what was needed to be done. Its a confusing topic , but in my opinion draco was a misraised broken jerk. IF YOU DONT AGREE DONT ATTACK ME OK lol
