The Quidditch Pitch
Chapter 1
Hello! It is a pleasure to have you here reading this, and considering applying for a place on your Quidditch Team! It is time for tryouts on the Quidditch Pitch, and you are very welcome to click to access the group and apply!
HOW TO PLAY:
The rules of Quidditch have had to be adapted as we are actually online, and magical brooms are not readily available - however, there are still instructions on play. Various questions are asked of the opposing teams' chasers. If the chasers answer the question correctly, they score a goal. If not, then they miss. Beaters can try and prevent the chasers scoring by answering the question first - this is an imitation of directing a bludger toward the chaser(s). Meanwhile, the seekers are asked especially hard questions between every three chasers' questions. If they get three of these particularly difficult questions right, they have caught the snitch. The game customarily lasts half-an-hour to an hour.
ADDITIONS TO PLAY:
Recently I came up with something to add to the rules of the house teams. Before there was only one person allowed to have a specific place (e.g Kylie as Ravenclaw seeker). However, sometimes these people are not active, so I concluded that different people can be recorded in places, and whoever is currently active in the time of the match can play in that place.
