Remus was crying silently as I rambled.
"I-if I hurt you, but I really do love you-you probably hate me-"
Remus was inching towards me now.
"I-I...Remus, I-"
I became aware of Remus's big amber eyes, full of tears that shimmered in the firelight. God, how I loved him.
I felt Remus's lips, warm and wet with tears, push into mine, shutting me up. Remus was in my arms now, holding me, that was all that mattered, Remus loved me too. I held him tighter, and could feel him relax in my arms, then kiss me harder. Remus's lips tasted like salt from his tears, and his tong felt like magic in my mouth. We pulled apart, panting. I buried his face into Remus's shoulder. I was vaguely aware that I had started crying. Remus noticed my tears, though, and was whispering "I love you, I love you" into My ear.
We sat there holding each other and promising we would always love each other for a long time, until a voice in the doorway jolted us apart.
"FINALLY!!!"
Lily, James and Peter were standing in the doorway. James was cheering, Peter was squealing, and Lily rolled her eyes, like she knew the whole time.
I felt the heat on my face. Remus looked like a tomato. "A tearful tomato," James would say when we would talk about it in the future.

October passed fast, then November. It was now almost Christmas break. Remus, James and I were going to James's parents for the holidays, Peter and Mr. and Mrs. Lupin would join us next week. Christmas was an exiting time, but I was worried about meeting Remus's parents. He had told them we were dating, of course. Everyone knew that now. If people gave us shit about it, I'd flip them off and kiss Remus on the cheek. We were openly together now, holding hands in corridors, passing notes in class, and Remus had started doing my homework for me, which I was very grateful for.
