Ginny walks a little in the park, a little bored. She sits under a tree, and starts thinking about what she should do. She had to do her homework, of course, but before that she was going to finish her ice cream. Now she would be melting. "Hello! Have you seen a nargle?" asks a voice next to her. Ginny opens her eyes, to see a blonde girl with gray, bulging eyes. Ginny raises an eyebrow, curious. "A what?" The girl smiles. "A nargle. It is a creature that is used to infesting mistletoes and stealing people's things, and then returning them." Ginny laughs. "Are you sure that exists? The girl makes an offended expression. Then she nods energetically. "Okay, Nargles exist. But I haven't seen one," says Ginny, as the girl's expression relaxes. "By the way, what is your name?" Ginny asks. "I am Ginevra, but call me Ginny" The girl sits down next to Ginny. "I am Luna" Responds Luna with an enormous smile. It was the first time that a smile left her without words. "O-okey, Luna. What were you doing here?" asks Ginny looking at the floor. "I was looking for a Nargle.They stole my notebook," answers Luna. Ginny smiles. Luna smiles too. She looks back, and the sparkle in her eyes disappears. "I have to go. My tutor is waiting for me." Ginny nods, as Luna walks away.

When Luna leaves, Ginny gets up and walks to the ice cream shop. Hermione smiles. "Your ice cream hasn't melted yet," says Hermione. Ginny nods, as she grabs a scoop of ice cream. "You took longer than expected," Neville replies, slightly annoyed. "Oh, I ran into a girl named Luna. She was blonde and a bit extravagant, but nice," answers Ginny calmly. Neville's mouth opens. "What?" asks Ginny, confused. "You met Luna Lovegood! Daughter of the famous writer Xenophilius Lovegood" explains Hermione. "Oh, I would have LOVED to meet her," says Neville with a dreamy look. Hermione raises an eyebrow, naughty. "Do you like her, Neville?" Neville turns red as he shakes his head. Hermione laughs, and Ginny adds to the laughter, as the image of the smiling Luna is repeated over and over in her head.
