Signs Ron and Hermione Liked Each Other From the Beginning!
Ron and Hermione have been friends for years and (spoiler alert) in the end get married and have kids. You may think Ron only started liking Hermione later on but I’m here to prove you wrong! *WARNING SPOILERS FOR ALL THE BOOKS*
Philosopher's Stone- In the first book, Hermione goes to the girls bathroom to cry after Ron is mean to her. While she is there, a troll gets set loose in the castle. Ron and Harry go to save her. Also, when Ron gets attacked by the chess piece she screams and runs to him. She was worried about his safety and told Harry to go ahead alone so she could stay with Ron.
Chamber of Secrets- In the Chamber of Secrets, when Malfoy calls Hermione a mudblood, Rons stands up to him and fires a charm even though it backfires. When Harry is away training or studying, Hermione and Ron are always together.
Prisoner of Azkaban- In the Prisoner of Azkaban, Hermione’s first letter to Harry is all about Ron. She talks about his holiday and Ron’s letter to Hermione. Later, they are spotted having ice-cream together. In the film, during Buckbeak’s execution Hermione hugs Ron.
Goblet of Fire- In the Goblet of Fire, when Harry gets chosen for the Triwizard Tournament, Hermione understood why Ron started acting odd. Also, Mrs Weasley is worried about Rita Skeeter’s theories that Hermione and Harry are dating. Is she worried because she knows Ron likes Hermione? Ron is upset when Hermione gets asked to the Yule Ball. Also, when Fleur kisses Ron on the cheek Hermione is very angry. When Hermione tells Ron that Viktor Krum invited her over she can’t look Ron in the eye.
Order of the Phoenix- In the Order of the Phoenix, at the very beginning of the book, Hermione spends her summer with Ron. Furthermore, Harry isn’t even there. When Ron gets awarded Prefect, Hermione defends Ron from Fred & George. Also, Harry yells at them for fighting constantly.
Half-Blood Prince- In the Half-Blood Prince, Hermione might have Confunded Cormac so that Ron could get the role of Keeper. Hermione wants to ask Ron to the Slug Club party but that doesn’t work out. Ron is quite upset when he finds out Viktor kissed Hermione. When Lavender kisses Ron, Hermione is very clearly upset. Later in the Hospital Wing, Ron keeps on muttering Hermione’s name.
Deathly Hallows- I don’t even need to explain myself. They kiss and Ron is constantly worried about what Hermione thinks of him!
