Chapter 2
The next morning, Rae woke up and looked at her phone, a new text, from Veronica.
Veronica: Meet us at lunch, okay?
Rae: Sure?
Veronica: Good.
Rae got up, confused. ‘How did Veronica get my number?’ she asked herself, in her head. She went downstairs for breakfast before her mom called her. She ate quickly. She finished her homework for that night and put that, and a couple other things in her backpack.
She got ready for school so quickly, that she was the first to wait at the bus stop.
A few houses down she noticed Violet closing a door. She had the same hairstyle that she did yesterday. So did the other V’s.
All her classes before lunch were the same:
-lesson
-Homework
-Chaos
Rae’s backpack weighed a ton, even before lunch! She made her way to the cafeteria and saw Veronica. She walked over and sat down.
“Ah, Rae, we have a question to ask you,” Veronica said. “Ok, go ahead” Rae said, looking at Veronica.
“You seem cool, we would need to fix that fashion of yours, but you do seem cool” She said.
“Ok. thx” Rae said. She took a bite of her sandwich.
Vanessa knocked it out of her mouth. “What was that for?!” Rae asked. “We don’t eat until Veronica eats” She said. “Oh” Rae said. She closed her lunch box.
“Now, we would like to know if, ugh i feel like a kindergartener asking this but here it goes. Would you like to be our friend?” Veronica asked.
Rae was shocked, she only knew these guys since yesterday! But still, they were popular and she wanted to fit in, so she said yes.
“Good, meet us at the Ralph Lauren store down the street after school, ok? We need to find you a new outfit, your entire wardrobe probably needs to change” Veronica said. She took a bite of her sandwich. Violet and Vanessa looked as though they hadn’t eaten in forever.
“Vanessa, Violet, don’t eat like pigs!” Veronica said. “Sorry Veronica” they said in unison.
The rest of the afternoon was a blur, the same as the morning:

-Homework
-Chaos
After school she met her new friends outside. “First, let’s take a picture!” Vanessa said. She held out her phone and they took a selfie. Vanessa posted it on her Instagram account and they walked over to the Ralph Lauren store.
1 hour later they came out and Rae looked like a new person.
Veronica: Meet us at lunch, okay?
