Headmaster's Office

Chapter 1
Every Headmaster that has taught at Hogwarts has had a portrait of themselves hung in the Headmasters office. I am glad that he was never left out of this formal procedure. I was asked, when they commissioned it how he would have wanted it. My thoughts were simple. Put him in the dungeons or in the Potions Classroom. He was happy there. There were plenty of people that wanted to make sure he kept his place in the office and once it was finished, I was invited to go and see it. Is it something I would have chosen? Probably not however I am glad that it isn’t I think that he should be remembered at the school in the same way that the students recognise him. As a good teacher, loyal and ominous perhaps. I have my own Portrait of him at home so I know when any of the Weasley children get into trouble. That one is a portrait that remembers him more the way I knew him than the “others” did. That is the way it should be.
