Chapter 1
We want to hear from you!
Lately, since we have school, it has been a little hard for the HDN Council and members to manage HDN with school and all. So we are opening the idea that we may have to not do HDN in the school year. Some of our most beloved members have either left or cannot do HDN in the school year, including Beezer Granger and Callie Granger, as well as many others. Some members/interns have said they cannot do HDN during the school year.
It will also be a good chance (if we stop HDN in the school year) for the managers/council of the HDN to re-evaluate how the HDN is going to run next summer.
As readers of the HDN, we want to hear from you! Do you want the HDN to keep going? Or would it be ok with you if we stopped? We are also asking our members and interns these questions.

Hogwarts is Here (actually)!
Buckle up, because Hogwarts term just started! If you didn’t know already, Hogwarts term actually starts on September 1st, so hopefully you’re ready. Back to Hogwarts Live Stream!
The Back to Hogwarts livestream 2020 launched on September 1st, which is the day that Hogwarts term begins! It was hosted by the Wizarding World team who gave a special Back to Hogwarts livestream with fun activities, entertainment, and famous friends!!!
The livestream started at 10:30 am BST on September 1st. I think the livestream will be available to watch as a recording, so here’s the link:

New information on AAA
As said last March, a project seen in 2018 will be carried out. In a Bloomberg article, Jason Schreier was approved that two people were working on this project. Warner is preparing a new Harry Potter game beautifully and well. This game called Harry Potter Open World will be released for the fact of the year 2021.

Hermione’s twin: a fanfiction
Dear Journal,
I don’t really know how to start this so I guess I’ll just say my name. Meridian Granger. I’m 15 years old, a witch, and in my 5th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And a twin. My sister is Hermione Granger. Popular, smart, everyone knows her. Me? You’ve most likely never heard of me. I’m not a brave Gryffindor, or an ambitious Slytherin. I’m not even a kind Hufflepuff. I’m a shy, smart Ravenclaw. Let me tell you a bit about my first year:
Hermione and I stood side by side, in the Great Hall, squeezing each other’s hands so hard. Waiting to be sorted. I was terrified I’d get Slytherin. Hermione was called before me, and she got Gryffindor. Then I got Ravenclaw. I sat by a girl called Padma Patil. We got on very well.
That evening instead of going to my dormitory I snuck out to the grounds. The forest was bathed in moonlight and it was incredibly beautiful. I climbed a tree for a better view. Suddenly I heard footsteps. Professor Quirrell. He was quickly wrapping up his turban. But I saw. I saw the head of Voldemort at the back of his head. “Stupefy!” He yelled. A jet of red light hit me in the stomach and I fell from the tree. I blacked out just as I hit the ground. I woke up a week later in St. Mungo’s. I told Hermione what had happened but she said that my fall must have confused me. I insisted it was true but she didn’t believe me. She said I was being silly. Snape was the evil one.
At the end of the school year, when she found out I hadn’t been lying she apologized. That was the closest we have ever come to a fight.
I’m late for a DA meeting so I’ll have to end this entry now. Until next time.

Fun Fact
Hey everyone! Here is today’s fun fact and i hope you enjoy it!
If you’re lucky enough to have a wand made from a Thunderbird’s tail feather, I recommend guarding it with your life. Wands containing the tail feather of a Thunderbird may be difficult to get a handle on, but they’re also extremely powerful (and known for their transfiguration skills in particular). Another added bonus (that could end up saving your life)? Wands with this ingredient are able to sense danger and can cast spells independent of their owner.Interesting wand!!
